Infinity Driven – Terms & Conditions
1. Licence Requirements
The pupil confirms that they hold a valid and appropriate driving licence for the tuition vehicle. The pupil must notify their instructor immediately if their licence is endorsed, suspended, or revoked during the tuition period.
2. Lesson Rearrangement
In the event of a mechanical breakdown, traffic incident, or any circumstance beyond the instructor’s reasonable control, the instructor reserves the right to reschedule lessons at short notice.
3. Lesson Cancellation Policy
To ensure fair scheduling and effective use of time, the following cancellation terms apply:
3.1. Notice Requirement: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
3.2. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson will incur the full lesson fee.
3.3. Missed Lessons: Failure to attend a lesson without prior notice will be treated as a late cancellation, and the full fee will apply.
3.4. Method of Cancellation: Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled by telephone or email. Notice must be provided more than 48 hours in advance to avoid charges.
4. Lesson Duration
Each lesson shall be of one-hour duration unless otherwise agreed. Where external factors prevent the instructor from delivering the full lesson, the lost time will be credited to a subsequent session. It is the pupil’s responsibility to ensure this is recorded.
5. Driving Test Fees
Fees paid to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for a driving test do not include the use of the instructor’s vehicle for the test or any pre-test tuition. Standard lesson rates shall apply.
6. Payments
6.1. Payment must be made in advance of each lesson.
6.2. Infinity Driven reserves the right to amend lesson rates, with reasonable notice provided to pupils.
6.3. Promotional offers, including discounted introductory lessons, may be subject to additional conditions.
7. Prepaid Lessons and Vouchers
All prepaid vouchers, block bookings, and intensive course fees are valid for up to three (3) months from the date of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Legal Liability
The instructor’s primary objective is to promote safe driving practices. While every effort will be made to deliver instruction to a high standard, the instructor cannot be held liable for errors, accidents, or incidents arising from the pupil’s actions when driving independently, whether before or after passing the driving test.
9. Instruction Standards
The instructor will endeavour to deliver lessons in accordance with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) syllabus. However, the number of lessons required to reach test standard will vary depending on the individual pupil.
10. Driving Test Arrangements
Driving tests may only be booked with the mutual agreement of both pupil and instructor. The instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of their vehicle if, in their professional opinion, the pupil is not test-ready.
11. Complaints
Any concerns or complaints shall be addressed in accordance with the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) Code of Practice.
12. Fitness to Drive
The instructor reserves the right, at their absolute discretion, to terminate or refuse a lesson if the pupil is suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance likely to impair their ability to drive safely.
13. Liability for Damage
The instructor accepts no liability for accidents, injury, or damage to any third party caused by the pupil’s recklessness, negligence, or failure to follow instruction during lessons.
14. Use of Vehicle for Test
The instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of the tuition vehicle for any driving test if they reasonably believe the pupil poses a risk to road safety.
